The only dedicated UCAT training institute in Vijayawada — and Andhra Pradesh's most trusted name for UK and Australian medical school admissions. Expert prep for all five subtests, personalised study plans, and full UCAS support under one roof.
Most coaching centres in Vijayawada — even the large ones — do not offer UCAT preparation. UCAT is a highly specialised cognitive aptitude test with no overlap with JEE, NEET, or standard English exams. It requires dedicated trainers, proprietary question banks, and integration with UK medical admissions strategy. Study2Migrate built this capability specifically because Vijayawada's aspiring doctors deserved a local option — not an expensive trip to Hyderabad or Bangalore.
Our faculty are trained specifically on UCAT's five subtest domains — not repurposed from general aptitude coaching. Each subtest has its own methodology, time-pressure profile, and scoring logic that demands specialist preparation.
UCAT is only one part of a UK medicine application. We connect your UCAT score directly to UCAS university shortlisting, personal statement strategy, and MMI interview preparation — all at our Kanuru centre. No other coaching centre in Vijayawada offers this.
We maintain a large proprietary question bank covering all five subtests, calibrated to the difficulty distribution of real UCAT exams. Students practice under timed conditions with immediate score feedback — not generic aptitude questions.
Until now, Vijayawada students had to travel to Hyderabad or Chennai for UCAT coaching. Study2Migrate's MG Road centre brings specialist preparation to your city — 7 minutes from Benz Circle, 10 minutes from NTR Circle.
UCAT is used for UK, Australian (UCAT ANZ), and New Zealand medical admissions. We prepare students for all three pathways — and our UK desk and Australia desk handle the complete application beyond the test.
Study2Migrate has been sending students abroad since 2016 — first from Hyderabad, now from Vijayawada. Our 98% visa success rate reflects the depth of support we provide at every stage, from test prep to visa interview.
The UCAT is not a knowledge test. It tests cognitive speed, pattern recognition, and ethical reasoning — skills that require structured practice, not revision. Understanding the full format is the first step to a strategic preparation plan.

Most students preparing independently focus on the question types they naturally find difficult — and neglect the ones they assume will be easy. Our coaching addresses all five subtests systematically, because each domain contributes equally to your cognitive total score.
Presents 11 passages of 200–300 words each, followed by 4 statements per passage. You must classify each as True, False, or Can't Tell based only on the passage — not on prior knowledge. The trap is that "Can't Tell" answers are far more frequent than students expect. Indian students with strong English often incorrectly mark "True" where the passage only implies rather than states.
The most varied subtest: includes logical reasoning (syllogisms, deductive arguments), probabilistic reasoning (relative risk, statistical data), venn diagrams, and visual/spatial problem solving. Several question types award partial marks for correct reasoning in multi-response questions. Most students under-practice DM and lose easy partial-credit marks.
Tests interpretation of numerical data presented in tables, graphs, and charts — not advanced mathematics. The syllabus covers percentages, rates and ratios, currency conversion, and basic statistics. Engineering and science students from Vijayawada typically find the content straightforward — but lose marks on pacing (40 seconds per question) and misreading multi-part data tables. A built-in calculator is provided.
The most time-pressured subtest in the entire UCAT — 14.4 seconds per question. Presents sets of shapes governed by hidden rules. Students must identify the rule and classify new shapes into Set A, Set B, or Neither. Five question formats exist: Set A/B classification, next-in-series, statement completion, and shape completion. Students who approach this test cold consistently score below 550.
Presents medical and clinical scenarios — interactions between doctors, patients, families, and colleagues — and asks you to rate the appropriateness of actions or their importance. Scored Band 1 (highest) to Band 4 (lowest). Most UK medical schools require Band 1 or Band 2. SJ tests alignment with GMC professional values: patient safety, honesty, respect, and teamwork. Answering based on "what I would personally do" rather than "what a good doctor should do" is the most common failure mode.
UCAT scores are used differently across universities — some use absolute thresholds, others rank applicants by score. The bands below are competitive benchmarks based on recent cycle data. Our coaching is calibrated around these real-world targets.
Over 30 UK universities use UCAT for undergraduate and graduate-entry medicine and dentistry. Below are the most popular choices among Vijayawada and Andhra Pradesh students, with typical score expectations. Our UK admissions team builds a personalised shortlist for every student based on their UCAT score, A-level or Indian board equivalency, and personal statement strength.
MBChB · One of the UK's oldest medical schools · High UCAT threshold
MBBS / BDS · Dental school also top-ranked · London location
MBChB · Strong UCAT weighting in shortlisting formula
MBBS · Graduate-entry option · Strong clinical placements
MBChB · Historically welcoming to international students
MBChB · Strong research profile · MMI interview format
MBChB · BDS (Dentistry) · Large medical school
MBChB · Problem-based learning · Lower UCAT threshold
Doctor of Medicine (MD) · Graduate-entry · UCAT ANZ
MBBS · Graduate-entry · UCAT ANZ · Melbourne-based
MBChB · New Zealand · UCAT ANZ accepted
Doctor of Medicine · UCAT ANZ · Highly competitive
Score thresholds are competitive estimates based on 2024–25 cycle data. Exact thresholds vary by cohort. Confirm with universities at time of application.
At our centre above Jockey Showroom, MG Road, Kanuru — 7 minutes from Benz Circle — you receive the full UCAT preparation infrastructure that was previously only available in Hyderabad or Bangalore. Here's exactly what's included.
A subtest-by-subtest baseline test under timed conditions. Identifies your current scoring profile across all five subtests — so your study plan addresses real weaknesses, not assumed ones.
Each of the five UCAT subtests requires a different preparation strategy. Your plan allocates time and question-set volume based on your diagnostic scores — not a generic schedule.
The most time-pressured subtest. We run systematic rule-checklist drills until pattern identification becomes automatic — transforming AR from a student's weakest to strongest subtest within 3–4 weeks.
Situational Judgement requires alignment with GMC values, not personal instinct. We teach a structured ethical priority hierarchy and train it through clinical scenario practice sets.
Regular timed full-length UCAT mocks with post-test score analysis — broken down by subtest, question type, and time management. Identifies your pattern of errors before your real test date.
UCAT is the entry point — not the end. Our UK admissions desk connects your UCAT score to university shortlisting, personal statement writing, MMI interview preparation, and UK student visa support.
Book your free UCAT diagnostic today. We bring specialist preparation to your city — no travel to Hyderabad needed.
